Writing prompts are your friend. And so are "free writes." In 2018 I spent months and months trying to plot out a novel and to this day it has barely moved an inch in progress. When I had finally hit a wall of frustration with it, I decided to do something completely different for a bit to give that project a break. I had a sliver of an idea for a completely different story so I decided to just write as the ideas came to me just to get the writing juices flowing again. Turns out that was the best thing I could have done!

"Show, don't tell" is just as important in Christian media as in secular media. Telling is better in some cases, while showing is better in others.
